NUTRITION AND TRAINING

These nutrition and training programs are customized to the individual. Before we start, we have a detailed interview to assess your current diet, training program and physique. By determining what got you to where you are now, we can better assess what needs to be done to make changes. Focal points of my philosophy include:

  • Optimizing body function and minimizing markers of inflammation

  • Manipulating meal timing for maximum performance and fat burning

  • Reprogramming the body to use its nutrients better

Weight Loss/muscle building and Body Transformation (non-contet prep)- The goal here is to create a program that sheds fat and builds muscle simultaneously to achieve a total change in body composition. These programs must not just be effective, but also sustainable, meaning they must adhere well to your lifestyle for continued success.

Contest Preparation – Contest prep is the most intense program available where a small change can make big differences. Emphasis is placed on training the body to target stored body fat for energy and maintain the maximum amount of muscle while staying energized during this process. In the final two weeks pre-contest, the body is primed and manipulated to reduce subcutaneous fluid and volumize muscles to expose maximum fullness and definition.

Sports and Functional Diets – Sports and functional dieting and training are unique from the others in that all emphasis is placed on maximizing performance as opposed to achieving a desired look. Emphasis is placed on maximizing speed and strength as applicable to the particular sport. In this type of preparation, functional exercises to maximize endurance, power and muscle coordination are the focus. Likewise, the diet and supplement program focuses on maximizing energy stores during workouts and events and maximizing the efficiency of the body. Recovery is paramount and focusing nutrients and supplements at particular times is crucial.

One Time Diets - A one time diet includes a full assessment and review of your current diet and training. We will analyze what is working and what is not, and what we can do to make big improvements that can be incorporated into your ongoing eating habits and lifestyle.
